It seems overly simple at first glance. It's true that it doesn't contain all the elements of success - action doesn't guarantee success. But inaction guarantees failure. Knowledge only benefits us when we put it into action... If in doubt, opt for positive action. If it isn't the correct answer, your subconscious mind will work on the problem in the background. Some solutions will only come as your momentum builds. Nothing worthwhile comes without significant effort, action. Fear wants to paralyze us, take away our power to act. As an entrepreneur you must fight back against the resistance, the inertia, the risk, the negativity. It will be an on-going battle. Learn to recognize the forces that conspire against you, accept their existence, and get into the habit of acting anyway. The positive results will fuel your perseverance. The first key to success as an independent contractor that we discussed last month was developing a skill (which also requires action). Another key to success is action.
